Buckhorn Camps were established on Jo-Mary Island in Middle Jo-Mary Lake by Albert "Bert" Haynes and Guy Haynes in August 1895 when the first camp was built on Lake "MeeLapSwanGamoc"
The grandson of Bert Haynes and the Haynes family have graciously shared the family history and some very early photographs of the camps. We are very grateful and here are a few posts from years gone by.
